The indoor track season has come to a close as our male and female athletes have endured the harsh winter conditions from November to January. Senior runners Raymon Damon and Chauncy Chewning have led the Warriors all year, while Junior Akeem Smith has led the indoor track team in throwing shotput.

The state championship tournament occurs February 24-25 at Boo Williams Sports Complex. This tournament is a little different than, say, a wrestling tournament. Instead of having an actual tournament to decide a definitive winner, athletes qualify for the state tournament through their personal best times in their respective events. Then, races take place on February 24 in order for runners to qualify for the legitimate state title on the 25th
