Tuesday, January 31 was Senior Night for the Warriors as they celebrated the seniors who have given years of commitment and talent to the Henrico High School basketball program. The seniors who were recognized included DeMarco Suggs, Macky Cisse, Chris Morris, and Claude Funn Jr. All of these seniors have been with the program since 9th grade, and Suggs and Morris each have state champion rings from the 2015 season.

“It’s been a great three years here at Henrico. I want to say thank you to the coach and staff” Cisse stated.

“Our seniors have been good leaders and a big part of our team’s regular season record of 16-6”, Coach Harmon says.  “We appreciate their contributions to our program.”

The Senior Night festivities were a sight to see; cheerleaders and players alike were commemorated for their years of entertainment and, most importantly, winning which they have provided the school over the years they have attended Henrico.

The season ended with Henrico having a 16-6 record, which was impressive enough to make the playoffs.

Their first playoff game is on Saturday, February 11 against Freeman at 11:00am at Deep Run High School.
